HOLY CRAP! I NEED TO GET THESE COLT 45 SNEAKERS FOR XMAS

Stevie found these. Vice Magazine (pretty cool mag, Gregors used to subscribe to it when we lived up on Comm Ave and I’d read it in the pooper) threw a party with our Colt 45, our Patron Beverage in these here parts (and it looks like they’ve a spiffed things up with a new website design, too!) after they got together with Etnies to make the most kickass sneaker (Warning: I might be biased) this side of Billy Dee’s closet to create the “Etnies x Colt 45″  (or Colt 45 x Etnies, I’m not fluent in hip shoe-speak). Look at these kicks! Tell me Mikey wouldn’t have had kittens and gone on a manhunt to track a pair of these suckers down. They’re AWESOME. I need a pair (size 10, Men’s) right now. Actually, that might be too late. I need them 2 weeks ago, so they’d be all comfy and worn-in by now. AUUUUGH! I want these so bad. C’mon. I don’t ask for much. Anybody got any ideas where I can find these puppies?

I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO “THE LEAGUE”

Look, FX is responsible for giving us It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and yes, that’s just an excuse to post Day Man again:

…and while they’re really pushing this show “The League” and promoting the everlovin’ shit out of it, as soon as I heard “Jon Lajoie” + “it’s about Fantasy Football”, I was in. Jon Lajoie is that dude with all the internet music videos, and while he has a tendency to run things into the ground a little, I find him pretty funny. We had him in studio at ZLX a few months back, and he was a really nice dude, so I think that might be why I’m so high on him. (No Homo.) That, and the WTF Collective “Wut-Tang” parody he came out with is pretty good:

I THINK DREAMWORKS OWES JENN MONEY SOME… UMM… MONEY.

I saw the 3D whirling fuckshow of a commercial during the Super Bowl for the new movie Monsters Vs Aliens, and immediately did a spit-take with the Cardinals Kool-aid I was drinking at the time. Our resident MILF,  Jenn Money,  apparently got a pretty sweet gig and is now a major movie star. (by the way, this movie’s going to make a gajillion dollars.) If this is just a coincidence, it’s fucking uncanny. Congrats, Jenn $$$! Now lend me some cash, you Hollywood hotshot, you.

Stephen Colbert is the voice of the President in this movie, which rules my face.
I guess the Jenn Money Rip-off character is a giant woman, who’s just big and doesn’t have any other superpowers.
Meh. It’s been done.

HALLOWEEN COSTUME IDEA #1: CAPT. SCRAMBLES!

Don’t have any idea what you want to be for Halloween? Sure, you could throw on some eyeglasses, maybe a wig, carrying around a flute and/or an assault rifle while wearing a bikini and talking like an extra from Fargo and be Sarah Palin for the night, but there’s going to be a ton of people doing that. So don’t stoop to it unless you are totally out of ideas and are ridiculously hot, like so:

A big Colt Monday happy fuckin’ birthday to Stevie Morrison, our resident muscle, quote machine, token gay, year-round shorts wearer, and Mikey’s chauffeur. Big Stevie’s all growns-up, everybody, and we’ll be out celebratin’ tonight, pounding some beers and watching the Sox put a whuppin’ on the Angels. I think we can all agree that Stevie’s been the backbone of many memorable Colt Monday nights and some of the funniest stories we all tell, and we love you to pieces, you furry gigantic knob-gobbling fairyboy big lug.
